Life Crafted Layout | Citrus Twist Kits

Hey friends!  I'm sharing a Life Crafted layout using the gorgeous new Citrus Twist Kits October kits.  For my layout today, I used mainly the Scrapbooking Add-on kit, along with a few ephemera pieces and the stamp set from the Life Crafted Flourish kit.

Here's a look at the spread:

The Add-on kit this month is FULL of the Crate Paper Marigold collection.  It is beautiful!  To begin the layout, I trimmed a patterned paper to 5x8.25" to fit as a full page in the album.  This gave me more space for adding lots of layering.  I chose several pieces from the Marigold ephemera pack (included in the Add-on kit) to create a large embellishment cluster.  I love that the ephemera includes vellum and cardstock pieces for a bit variety.   I also added a few ephemera die cuts from the Life Crafted kit to the edges of the cluster.  A gold bow puffy sticker and a few other puffy stickers from the kit finished off this page.

Because the left side of the spread was a patterned background, I chose to use white cardstock as the base for the right page.  I trimmed it to 5x8.25" to fit as a full page.  I layered a patterned paper and some ephemera pieces behind my photo.  I loved the green floral die cut and chose to use it to frame the photo.  I used a gold puffy phrase sticker as the title for my layout, layering it over the edge of the photo.  The Marigold puffy stickers were perfect little embellishments for this page.

I cut out a tag from a patterned paper and added it to the bottom of the page.  I handwrote my journaling on a label and adhered it, along with a vellum floral ephemera piece and puffy butterfly sticker, to complete the cluster.  I trimmed a small piece of the lace trim, included in the Add-on kit, and added it to the tag.  To finish off the spread, I added some stamping using the LC kit stamp and did a bit of machine stitching with black thread on several areas of the page.

I love how this Life Crafted layout turned out using these amazing kits!

Thank you for stopping by today!  Be sure to head over to the Citrus Twist Kits shop to check out this month's kits!

Life Crafted Layout | Citrus Twist Kits

Hey friends!  I'm sharing a Life Crafted layout today using the beautiful September "The Best Parts" kit and Traveler's Notebook stamp.

When I received this month's kit, I was immediately drawn to the gorgeous florals!  I paired them with some other favorites from the kit to create a layout documenting a photo of me with my two sons.

Here's a look at the Life Crafted spread:

I started the layout by trimming a piece of woodgrain patterned paper and adhering it to a white cardstock background.  I always love a good woodgrain paper!  For the title, I layered a fabric ephemera piece over a script die cut.  To complete the title, I added the word "day" using the Soft Mint Puffy Alphabet Stickers (a new item in the CTK shop) to a label from the ephemera pack.  I did a bit of stamping below the label with the Traveler's Notebook stamp and black ink.

To complete the left side of the layout, I added a puffy heart sticker and layered a few of the beautiful floral die cuts onto the edge of the woodgrain patterned paper.

For the other side of the spread, I began with a white cardstock background.  I added my photo at the top of the page and layered it over a diagonal striped paper from the kit.  I used some of the ephemera die cuts, a puffy heart sticker, and an ampersand sticker from the Soft Mint Puffy Alphabet Stickers to embellish.

Below the photo, I layered several of the ephemera pieces and more of the floral die cuts.  I did a bit more stamping using the Traveler's Notebook stamp and black ink onto some of the ephemera pieces.

I hope you found some inspiration for using the September "The Best Parts" kit!  Life Crafted kits are designed to help you tell your stories in a beautiful way!  I will see you again soon!

Life Crafted Layout | Citrus Twist Kits

Hey friends!  Marsha here today, and I'm sharing a layout in my Life Crafted Album.  I used the beautiful September "The Best Parts" Life Crafted kit, along with the This Is Life "Good Life" stampBailey Alphabet Stamp, and some digital files.

Here's a look at the layout:

To begin the spread, I printed one of the digital TN patterned papers to use as a background.  I typed my journaling on a piece of white cardstock and trimmed it to 3.5x7 inches.  I adhered it to the patterned paper and did some stamping with the "Good Life" stamp and the LC kit stamp.  I stamped the heart and star icons from the stamp set with light blue ink for a bit of extra interest.

I embellished the page with ephemera, printable cut apart elements, and a puffy heart sticker.

For the right side of the layout, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to use as the background and layered a piece of patterned paper over it.  I loved the design of the star journaling card, so I trimmed it in half and added it above and below my photo.  I used one of the fabric ephemera pieces from the kit to add a bit of interest at the top of the photo.

Below the photo, I added the title using the Bailey Alphabet stamp and Soft Mint Puffy Alphabet Stickers (a new item in the CTK shop!).  To embellish, I added a few ephemera pieces and did some stamping with the Good Life stamp.

Thank you for joining me today!  I hope I have inspired you to use this month's Life Crafted kit to document some of your stories!

Life Crafted Layout | Citrus Twist Kits

Hey friends!  I'm here today sharing a layout in my Life Crafted Album.  I used the beautiful August Life Crafted "True Stories" Kit, the Scrapbooking Add-on Kit, the This is Life "Stories" Stamp, and the Traveler's Notebook Stamp.

To begin the layout, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to fit as a full page in the album.  I knew I wanted to use the vintage dictionary page, that was included in the Add-on kit, as a layer on the page.  I trimmed it down, tore one of the edges for extra texture, and adhered it to the layout.  I was careful not to add adhesive to the top edge so that I could include a tag with some hidden journaling.

Then, I went through the kits and chose some ephemera, puffy stickers, and cut aparts to use on the layout.  I arranged them in a grid- one of my favorite layout designs.  I also fussy cut some florals from one of the patterned papers to use on both sides of the spread.  To finish off the left side of the layout, I stamped a sentiment using the Traveler's Notebook Stamp and added a bit of ribbon to one of the tags.

For the right side of the spread, I trimmed a patterned paper from the Add-on kit to fit as a full page in the album.  I trimmed two more patterned papers and adhered them to the base page.  There were so many gorgeous papers in the kits, I wanted to use them ALL!  I added my photo and some of the fussy cut florals.  I used the "Stories" stamp to add the title and did some simple embellishing with a label, puffy sticker, and ephemera ticket.

I layered an acetate piece over a patterned paper and added them to the page using mini staples.  I couldn't resist adding a couple more puffy heart stickers- these are always a kit favorite!

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you have found some inspiration for using this month's kits!

Life Crafted Layout | Citrus Twist Kits

Hey friends!  I'm excited to be hosting this week's 3-to-Inspire challenge for Citus Twist Kits!  Here are the prompts:

1. Focus on circles
2. Use chipboard/puffy stickers
3. Include stamping

Here's the Life Crafted layout I created using these prompts:

For my spread today, I used the August Scrapbooking Add-on kit, the Life Crafted True Stories kit, and the This Is Life Stories stamp.  To begin the layout, I trimmed a patterned paper from the add-on kit to 5"x8.25"- to fit as a full page in the album.  I used a metal die from my stash to cut circles out of another patterned paper and then adhered it to the background paper.  I added a circular puffy sticker and chipboard flair pieces into the circles I had cut.   To finish off this side of the layout, I used an ephemera piece to highlight one of the circles and added some stamping onto a few of the flair pieces.  The stamps worked perfectly on the chipboard flair!

For the other side of the layout, I used two patterned papers to serve as a background.  I added my photo onto another piece of patterned paper and a journaling card from the LC kit.  I fussy cut an ampersand from a journaling card and adhered it over the edge of the photo.  To embellish, I used more of the chipboard flair and did some stamping using the LC kit stamp and the Stories stamp.

For the title, I used a printable cutapart tag and stamped the word "details" with the This Is Life Stories stamp.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you will join in on this week's challenge and share your projects on the CTK Fan Page on Facebook or on Instagram using #citrustwistkits.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Life Crafted Layout | Citrus Twist Kits

Hey friends!  I'm excited to share my first project using the NEW July Life Crafted "Wild at Heart" Kit that just released!  It is so bright and gorgeous!  I also used the Bailey Stamp, this month's Add On stamps, and a variety of digital files.

Here's a look at my Life Crafted layout:

I began my spread by choosing two recent photos of my youngest son.  He loves all things outdoors, and I thought this kit would be perfect for documenting this memory.  I printed one of the TN Basics Digital Papers, recoloring the labels at the top of the page so that they would coordinate with the other elements I planned to use on the spread.  I layered my photo over a dark blue journaling card and used some labels, chipboard stickers, and enamel dots to embellish.  Next,  I added some stamping to the printed labels at the top of the page with the Life Crafted Stamp and the Traveler's Notebook Stamp.

I stamped the date using the Bailey Stamp onto a label from the Printable Cut Apart Elements and stapled it to the bottom of the page.  This alphabet stamp is my new FAVORITE!  I absolutely love the font, and it is the perfect size for using on Life Crafted layouts!

For the right side of the spread, I used a Life Crafted Page Protector #2.  I added a tab from this month's Printable Digital Tags, along with an ephemera label and heart, to add a bit more interest to the top of the photo.  Then, I created a flip-up by layering the photo over a journaling card from the LC Kit.  I stamped a sentiment with the LC kit stamp and a leaf from the This Is Life "Wild at Heart" Stamp.  I typed my journaling onto a piece of white cardstock and embellished with an ephemera piece.  Finally, I used a piece of cardstock to attach the photo and journaling cards, creating the flip-up.  I love using interactive elements on my LC layouts!

I chose another journaling card from the kit and used the black puffy alphabet stickers and the Bailey Stamp to create the title.  To complete the page, I added a chipboard sticker and a few of the bright enamel dots- another favorite from this month's kit!

I hope I have inspired you to document some of your memories using this month's amazing Life Crafted Kit, stamps, and digitals!  I'm excited to see what you create!

Life Crafted Layout | Citrus Twist Kits

Hey friends!  I'm excited to be here today sharing a project I created in my Life Crafted Album.  I used the gorgeous June Scrapbooking Add-On Kit to create this spread.

Here's a look at the layout:

I love documenting photos of my sweet little niece, and this photo of her is one of my favorites!  To begin the layout, I trimmed a ledger paper from the kit to fit as a full page in the album.  I added some layers behind the photo using several patterned papers and an ephemera die cut.  I then embellished around the photo using puffy stickers, cardstock stickers, and an acetate piece.

I typed my journaling and added it in strips below the photo.  Next, I created another cluster at the bottom of the page using a floral piece, puffy sticker, and some cardstock stickers.  To finish off the page, I added a bit of stamping using the Life Crafted Kit Stamp and the This Is Life "Yes" Stamp.

For the other side of the spread, I trimmed a floral patterned paper from the kit to fit in a page protector.  I love this paper and really wanted to use it as a background.  I kept this side of the spread very simple, just creating a tag shape from the grid patterned paper and layering an ephemera piece and some puffy and cardstock stickers.  To finish off the page, I added more stamping using the Life Crafted Kit Stamp.

I hope I have inspired you to get some of your memories documented in your Life Crafted Album!  The pages come together so quickly using this format!

Hybrid Life Crafted Layout | Citrus Twist Kits

Hey friends!  I'm here today sharing a hybrid layout in my Life Crafted Album.  I used the Life Crafted Journeys KitThis Is Life Daytripping Stamp, and lots of digital files from the shop.

Here's a look at the layout:

To begin the spread, I enlarged a map patterned paper from the Journeys Digital TN Pattern Papers to 5"x8.25" so that it would fit as a full page in the album.  I created another canvas (sized to 4.25"x8.25") and added several of the arrow stamps from the Daytripping Digital Stamp.  I was careful to leave space in the center for the geotag cut file that I planned to add later.  I printed the papers, trimmed them to size, and adhered them so that the arrow paper was on top.  Next, using Silhouette Studio, I sized a geotag from the Journeys Titles Cut File to fit in the area I had left on the page and cut it out using a blue patterned paper from the kit.  I added some hand-stitching to the cut file for added texture and interest.  I always love the results when I take the time to add stitching to a layout!

I stamped the word "travel" and the trees icon stamp from the Daytripping Stamp onto the map patterned paper and used a circle die to cut it out.  I added it to the center of the geotag to serve as the title.  To complete this page, I stamped some sentiments from the Daytripping Stamp and also added a camera icon stamp to the bottom of the page.

For the right side of the layout, I opened a digital paper from the Journeys TN Basics Digital Papers and typed my journaling onto the page.  I printed it out on white cardstock, added my photos, and used an ephemera piece and chipboard stickers from the kit to embellish it.  I also did a bit more stamping using the Daytripping Stamp and the LC Kit Stamp.  To complete the title, I used the aqua puffy alphabet stickers from the kit.  I also added a "19" to the top of the spread, because my husband and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary on this trip!

Be sure to check out all of the amazing digital files that are available in the Citrus Twist Kits shop!  I will see you again soon!
